Contribute to our nation's cybersecurity defence by uncovering potential vulnerabilities that can compromise commonly used devices so that we can better protect them.
FAKE SPEECH DETECTION

Technology has enabled synthetic speech to sound increasingly human-like which increases threats like voice impersonation to access private accounts and fake news. Enhance our nation’s security against such threats by developing an algorithm that can detect fake speech.
MEME GENERATION APPLICATION

Catch a glimpse into a life of a software engineer in AI developing an end-to-end automated meme analytics and generation system that incorporates a basket of state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms across Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision fields.

MEET DARREN

Darren Ng is a Year 4 Computer Science student under the Renaissance Engineering Programme (REP) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). After his internship with DSO’s Information Division, he was offered the DSO Merit Scholarship.

But 14-year-old Darren would not have imagined that he would be a Computer Science student, much less a software engineer.
